Let yourself fall
Let yourself fall.
Let yourself melt into the ground beneath your weary feet,
Where you once were but a seed and will return to once more.
Let yourself fall.
Let yourself turn to dust,
Blowing gently into the wind, swirling in a spiral drifting into the clouds.
Let yourself fall.
Let go of the rusted, weathered edge that you hold on to so tight.
Your hands no longer have to bleed.
Let yourself fall.
Let your body release, shut your eyes,
To be caught by the soft wings of the present.
This Poems Story
This is a short poem I wrote for anxiety sufferers. Letting yourself fall is essentially letting go of control, of the \"what if\'s\" and letting life be what it is. Just accepting the present moment as it comes and not always feeling like you have to fix everything or be prepared for the worst. Artwork - Simon Alexandre Clément Denis
