Letter to my nephew

Dear nephew I guess I just wanted to say hi
Tell you that I love you and miss you more each day that goes by
So tell me what's it like up there
How is it living in perfection and even the purity of air
Down here as you can see we doing okay
But still so hard to cope with you going away
I know its been some years but I still ask why
Guess I'm still not ready to say goodbye
Your time here was short but boy did you bless us all
But God rung for you so you had to answer his call
I close my eyes and I can still see your beautiful smile
And in that moment your my escape from reality for awhile
Oh I bet Grandma is spoiling you
And Papa know you got him wrapped around your finger too
Speed your wings baby boy and soar through that beautiful sky
And don't forget in my dreams to continue to stop by
Back to playing with the angels you go
But first I saw the brightest star tonight something tells me that was you putting on a show
Auntie loves you Jr my precious nephew goodnight
And we will meet again when God says the time is right
