Life and Death in Color

I am the glossy cream essence of new life.
I am a dahlia flushed infant.
I am crystal clear tears trailing down a face.
I am the peach blush creeping up someone's cheek.
I am navy waves of depression rolling in.
I am the crimson blood beading on a cut.
I am the sangria bruise on your upper arm.
I am the coral ripped skin on knuckles.
I am scarlet lipstick smeared on a face.
I am charcoal mascara dripping from lashes.
I am chestnut hair being pulled in frustration.
I am the pistachio tint of an envious face.
I am a raspberry tassel on a graduation cap.
I am gold rings on a fancy pillow.
I am a heliconia wedding bouquet.
I am silver pearls worn on an anniversary.
I am the ivory teeth that from a smile.
I am the ashy complexion of the dead.
I am a sienna coffin covered in dirt.
