Lift Up the Carpet
Lift up the carpetSweep under your fear
Close down the shutters
The hour of judgement is here
Block out the sunlight
Seek shelter from the rain
Can you promise yourself
It will never happen again?
Dig out the doorstep
Pry the knocker from the door
Switch off the lights
And silence the floor
Ask for forgiveness
Found only within
Pour out your sorrow
Let the healing begin
