Lost and Alone
My mind is like a puzzle,
it is all scrambled
I am disoriented.
My eyes are glossy and foggy
I do not know where I am—
I do not know who I am.
I am in a crowded room
screaming.
But no one seems to hear me—
so I panic…
Am I dead?
Are they dead?
Is this a dream?
It has to be!
I cannot think,
I cannot speak.
Oh, God,
please help me!
it is all scrambled
I am disoriented.
My eyes are glossy and foggy
I do not know where I am—
I do not know who I am.
I am in a crowded room
screaming.
But no one seems to hear me—
so I panic…
Am I dead?
Are they dead?
Is this a dream?
It has to be!
I cannot think,
I cannot speak.
Oh, God,
please help me!
This Poems Story
This poem, I feel, resembles anxiety and how sometimes when your anxious, usually when you have a panic attack, no matterbhow loud you scream and no matter what you do you seem to can't be heard and no one seems to be able to help.
