LOST FAITH
How many times, have I bent,
My head toward the Lord?
How many times, have I knelt,
Till my legs ached?
How many times, at my best,
Have I prayed to the God?
How many hours, have I spent,
Praying to a deaf god?
He doesn’t help me in my need,
Whom to turn, I don’t know.
He is the one, and only God,
That’s what I did know.
Now I turn to myself, my mind,
I try to empower more and more,
To face anything, good or bad,
Which comes my way, furthermore.
My head toward the Lord?
How many times, have I knelt,
Till my legs ached?
How many times, at my best,
Have I prayed to the God?
How many hours, have I spent,
Praying to a deaf god?
He doesn’t help me in my need,
Whom to turn, I don’t know.
He is the one, and only God,
That’s what I did know.
Now I turn to myself, my mind,
I try to empower more and more,
To face anything, good or bad,
Which comes my way, furthermore.
