Love is strange
Love is strange
It starts so simply, a word, a thought, an idea.
Before you know it it has wings, it's flying, soaring bringing you so high that you feel alive and free.
But then you look down an realize what if you fall?
You could be hurt, damaged... even break.
But then you look ahead again and forget, you're soaring, you're open and free and alive again.
You see your lover and you feel invincible, like you'll always fly that high.
But then they disappear and suddenly your not flying, you're falling... and the ground, it doesn't kill you, but it breaks your heart.
You try to frantically grab all the scattered pieces and pull them back into place but the wind carries some of them away.
And as you watch them scatter and float you know you will never get them back and now you need to learn to live without those pieces.
