Love & Pain
Long and dark day are comingDeep inside my pain is humming
Even when the the rhymes from my pen are blooming
I'm still crying
And my dears are drying
Behind a hidden smile, a piece of happiness appears
While fighting my demons to conquer my fears
Darkness is my home, and the lights are dimming
Like a lonely star, in the sky that is slowly dying
On the virgin paper of thoughts, the pen is hovering
The ink is teasing, seizing the moment, yet pleasing
In the mind of the poet, endless battles of words are colliding
Deep in oblivion Love and Pain are uniting

This one was written in a hotel in London, reflecting on the stress of work, traveling and not seeing my family. I sat down on the bed, and quickly wrote this poem.
