Missing You
Missing you is like missing Hallies comet. It's like taking the dirt they told you to rub on it and turning that into a sonnet. It's like sitting on a bank in Venezuela and not seeing a single lightning strike. Like giving me a pen without paper and telling me to write. Like sending me to Everest when I'm afraid of heights. Like meaning more to a stranger today than I did last night. The endless impossibilities of the impossible yet here I sit and cry. I'd probably be better off if God could speak words and tell me why. But I'm tired of the pain and tired of my sighs. So give me Hallies comet, give me the lightning strikes. I'll cover my fear and I'll write in my mind just please give me no more lies and sullen goodbyes. _Tay
