Morning Glories
comes vibrant, violent, violet blue
first love and first bloom of the morning
the moment when all is new
For with one kiss from the lips of dawn
blossoms awaken as peaceful as a swan
first smile first yawn of the morning
the moment when nothing’s yet lost
tense tendrils curl and cling
trumpets emit an eerie singing
last song last ring of the evening
the moment when all is still
gold rays dip and disappear
forcing blooms into cages of fear
last heartache last tear of the evening
the moment when cold is near
retreating to the walls of sand
hiding from the nighttime lands
forever begins and forever ends
the moments of time that forever stand

Wow, that is so beautiful. I felt like I was right there in the scene.
