Night

Darkness descends around me.
The last vestiges of light slowly dying out.
A light breeze starts up ruffling my hair.
And I breethe in the cool night air.
It carries with it the scent of the earth.
Of flowers pushing themselves out of the frangrant, moist soil.
Of new, vibrant, green grass looking at the world with new eyes.
Rough tile grates across my body as I shift my weight.
The night sky winks at me, and I feel a smile creep across my face.
