Nightfall

Though I love the warm sun on my shoulders, when the sun sets and the cold starts to creep in. I feel at peace. When the sky is nothing but dark blue littered with sparkles and a Moon bright with pride; then and only then do I catch myself drifting off into thoughts I didn't know I had. To a feeling of relaxation I thought I would never be able to reach. I’m picked up and swept away by the dark voyage of my mind. 


I wander around searching for a dwelling but instead I find a castle. A castle that is dark and sleeping with secrets.With a deathly calm she waits to be awoken. She desires to let the secrets fly, soar off into the nightmarish blue of the sky and let them thrive. So she waits patiently for me to go wandering on her doorstep.To let me in and unlock her secrets. And in their place I will be held captive. I will be her new secret. I will be our new secret.
