No One Cares

Giving to all and receiving no praise

Looking into all their faces and getting a dead stare gaze

Try as I may and try as I might

I can't seem to move anyone or do anything right

Crying behind a curtain while screaming in the face of public opinion

Looking for the right words to prevent my own crucifixion

Jokes and whims are the story of the hour

Truth and meaning no one cares to express or inspire

Morality out the window no one cares to climb higher

Like walking on a up escalator in reserve truth becomes a joke with consequences dire

Not enough people want the truth anymore

Some many people consider the truth a bore

Truth is life and life is truth and should soar

Soar through the sky without a care

To those who spit at truth and take it as a joke to you I say "you dare"

Looking with that dumb stare

Know your place and see the truth written on your face

Face it, learn it, live it, love it, and believe it
