Ode to a Fierce and Unfaltering Love
Ode to a Fierce and Unfaltering LoveIn twilight’s hush, where shadows softly tread,
A heart once bound by chains of doubt takes flight,
To love with fierceness, where the bold dare tread,
In tender whispers of the moon’s soft light.
What risks lie deep within this fragile dance,
As passion’s flame ignites the velvet night?
With every pulse, a soul’s sweet circumstance,
Unfolds in realms where dreams and truth unite.
Upon this path, where fleeting moments gleam,
We chase the echoes of love’s pure song,
Believing with a heart that dares to dream,
Embracing all that life, in time, prolongs.
Yet, in the folds of vulnerability,
We find the strength to face what might go wrong,
For in this space of raw fragility,
Joy, gratitude, and grace have made us strong.
To love and be loved, the greatest truth,
In imperfections, beauty finds its way,
Our flaws, like ancient scars, tell tales of youth,
Each mark a note in life’s melodic play.
With open hearts, we soar on wings of trust,
Through pain and bliss, through night and golden day,
For in this journey, love’s fierce light we must
Embrace, as stars embrace the sky’s array.
Oh, let us cherish every fleeting glance, And hold with reverence each tender kiss,
For love, in all its forms, its sacred dance,
Is where we find our deepest, truest bliss.
In the embrace of life’s uncertainties,
We learn to live, to feel, to wholly miss,
Yet in our flaws, and in our frailties,
We find the strength to love, and thus, to wish.
So here, beneath the starlit canopy,
With hearts unveiled, and spirits intertwined,
We write our story, bold and fearlessly,
With love’s fierce hand, our destinies aligned.
For what is life, if not a grand ballet,
Where souls entwine and in each other find,
The courage to be flawed, yet still to say,
In love’s pure light, our hearts are unconfined.
But those who falter, hearts adrift in woe,
In fear's cold grip, their passions waste away,
For them, no heavenly glory shall bestow,
But constant sorrow marks each passing day.
Lost in the shadows, possibility slain,
Remorse eternal haunts their silent night,
True life eludes where love's fierce light is vain,
And death of dreams consumes their fading light.
In love’s fierce fire, the soul finds true ascent,
In faltering steps, only sad lament.
