Oh You Gone Astray Oh Lord

By GEO

Oh you went astray oh Lord,
with mixtures of colors in the sky and ground.
Purples, yellows, and blues all around.
Trees of mighty hights and color,
reach the misty blue with wonder.
Oh you went astray oh Lord,
with all the different kinds of flowers,
wild and the tame in every color you have attained .
Oh how wonderous they go together
with all the shades of greens.
Darkest to the lightest all mixed
in with all your beautiful coloration.
Oh you went astray oh Lord,
but oh how colorless this world would be,
if you haven't left the canvus and set your paint brush free.

This Poems Story

I was taking a walk through the woods and had my paper and pen in hand and was taken by all the beauty all around me.
