Once upon a time

Nude was sacred
Smoking was a thing of shame
Scam was nothing but stealing
Our parents were disciplined
Our society was cultured
We the children are well nurtured
Until civilization crept in…
Slowly we lost our virtue
Seeking solace in pills
Happiness in drugs
Living large on ritual killings
Money money money
That became the anthem of our generation
A sad generation with beautiful picture
Female turned sex workers
Male turned steady ballers
The rich became persons with human right
The poor are seen as object of no right
Once upon a time like yesterday…
We lost the good old days to civilization.
