Other Than You
Fallen and broken, unbound but choking. Drifting through, praying for truth, for proof of something more than what has been. More and more, becoming less and less, verging on empty. Longing for the days that were full, longing for something true, something new, anything more than that which I've endured. Something pure. Once found in my youth and then lost within the age. So much rage.. disappointment unbound, crowned the one, you stay and pray. If only there were someone to answer.. someone to give it over to.. someone other than you.
Key Words : Hardship, life, wanting, sadness, hopelessness

This is a poem meant to convey the daily struggle in life. The hardships and the misery and the anger that you\'ve endured and gone through, and how broken and jaded you\'ve become. It speaks of looking back to your youth and remembering the days before, when things were easy and positive. It envokes a feeling of wanting more, wanting what was, wanting to give it over to someone or something more than yourself, but at the same time, wanting a solid answer. Something corporeal..something you can see, and solidly say, \"That\'s It!\"
You outlined a huge emotional need for safety. Amazing
