Power In Words
Such power in words
spoken or written
by the heart of you or another
some say words go
in one ear and out the other
but if you can't hear
why try and listen?
if your voice is truly power
why won't you use it?
if our words are true
why can't you prove it?
if your heart is broken
why don't you cry?
there's a great power
in what you say.
so don't tell me you love me
if you wont show me you do.
and don't say you care for me
just to leave me, too.
such a power in words
