Precious Little Thing
Hey you - little one in the dark
I wish you a good night
In your sleep nightmares bullies your dreams for a fight
But don't you worry - daddy is here
to tuck you under your favorite blanket
It's snowing and cold outside
I got a fire going to keep you warm inside
I pulled a book from the basket
One more story - one more hug
For my little slug
The house is filled with love
You are our little sacred dove
A precious gift from the angels from above
In the morning I sat by your bedside admiring
Your little innocent eyes opening
Before me - with a giant yawning
Watching my precious little thing
