Prologue: Surreal

Fondly we hope and earnestly
We pray for a positive purpose.
A truth and reality that
Depends on justice and virtue.
A verb that’s not just heard.
Fondly we hope and earnestly
We pray for mainstays of mainstays.
Disdain not dictated by
What one says , but
And existence governed by
The soul.
Fondly we hope and earnestly
We pray for holy matrimony,
Not only in ceremony.
