I am a psychological prisoner
Trapped in my own mind
A cage of Thoughts and Memories
I cannot leave behind
I am a psychological prisoner
Haunted by my past
A ghost of guilt and regret
I cannot outlast
I am a psychological prisoner
Tormented by my fears
A monster of anxiety and doubt
I cannot appease
I am a psychological prisoner
Isolated by my pain
A wall of loneliness and despair
That I cannot break
I am a psychological prisoner
But I long to be free
A hope of healing and peace
I cannot see
