Silence
What if everyone was silent?
And no one ever talked?
People kept their mouths shut
Silent as a fox
Forget the rhyming
You don’t need that with words
that don’t exist
No one offends
No one regrets
No one cries
No one says what’s on their minds
Of course, there would be no music
Nothing to fill our ears and drown our troubles
But would it be too bad?
The suffering of the world caused by
petty words
Solved forever by a few simple
sacrifices
What
a
perfect
world.
And no one ever talked?
People kept their mouths shut
Silent as a fox
Forget the rhyming
You don’t need that with words
that don’t exist
No one offends
No one regrets
No one cries
No one says what’s on their minds
Of course, there would be no music
Nothing to fill our ears and drown our troubles
But would it be too bad?
The suffering of the world caused by
petty words
Solved forever by a few simple
sacrifices
What
a
perfect
world.
