Something More
I care about you todayjust as much as when we first met.
I'll never forget the day you said "hey",
when I was just trying to win a bet.
Instead I won something more,
and you got my heart,
you had won the war.
You had it from the start.
Then I found out that I won yours,
oh how happy I was to hear it.
It happened after I opened the doors,
and it took a bit but I'll never go back into that pit.
Trying to win that bet I had won something more,
you won too and we'll have each other and much more.
This Poems Story
I had wrote this back when I first found out that I had won the heart of my first love. Back when I had only talked to them and started to get to know them because I was trying to win a bet and I ended up falling in love with them and they fell in love with me too.
