When You Still Love Them

You said you loved me,
I said that I loved you to.
With you I felt free,
and together we grew.

Then something changed,
and you said you didn't care.
I had felt completely rearranged,
it just didn't feel fair.

You told me that you loved someone new,
and said you moved on.
I thought it couldn't be true,
I thought that forever you were gone.

Then again something changed,
and you said that you still cared.
Again I had felt rearranged,
and for that I was unprepared.

Now you say that you still love me,
and I still love you too.
I jumped inside with glee,
and inside my heart flew.

Someday we will be together again through and through
and as long as we have each other we'll never again be blue.
