Stand Up

I feel stuck. No, I am stuck.
I'm letting depression and anxiety tug me down.

It's like a thick muck,
Muck made of people's rumors and hatred for me.
All I do anymore is frown.

And no matter how many times I plea,
They go on and ignore me.

I need to be strong now.
I can't believe what they say and let this happen.

I will be strong and make it through this, I vow.
Why should I take it for their satisfaction?

But the next day I don't have to do anything.

Before it started that day three kids I didn't know
stood up for me.

There's no longer any bullying in our schools because of this action.

It may be a little thing to some people, but it's a huge thing.

Standing up can really make a difference.
