Stay In Line
My heart is fragile like the wings of the butterfly
Yet, so sweet like the apple and butter pie
In the garden of thoughts, words are trying -
to find a piece of mind
From the ones that matches their kind
They say Stay in line
Our fear grew like the wild vine
So they poisoned our minds with their delicious wine
And for free we gave our freedom
To stay in line
Like a good slave citizen - the little son
The good boy - the master’s favorite toy
His barefoot buried in the dust
Paved the way for us
In a world so unjust to us
Without a home, without land, no one to give us a hand
No one to trust - not even us - our future is crumbing like rust
They gave us a plate of disgust
Filled with judgement - without adjustment
To stay in line and become society’s best instrument
Yes, be quiet and stay in line
Everything will be fine
As our health and happiness decline
They say die or stay in line
Yet, so sweet like the apple and butter pie
In the garden of thoughts, words are trying -
to find a piece of mind
From the ones that matches their kind
They say Stay in line
Our fear grew like the wild vine
So they poisoned our minds with their delicious wine
And for free we gave our freedom
To stay in line
Like a good slave citizen - the little son
The good boy - the master’s favorite toy
His barefoot buried in the dust
Paved the way for us
In a world so unjust to us
Without a home, without land, no one to give us a hand
No one to trust - not even us - our future is crumbing like rust
They gave us a plate of disgust
Filled with judgement - without adjustment
To stay in line and become society’s best instrument
Yes, be quiet and stay in line
Everything will be fine
As our health and happiness decline
They say die or stay in line
