Suicide Sunday
I sit in my room at night
Praying that I'll see that light
The one that'll take me away
Make it a brand new day
This is the day it'll end
Cause I’m something you cannot mend
Today is the day I die
Leaving you to wonder why
You'll think about all you've said
And where it could've led
Your words now they just linger
Now you’re quite the thinker
Let's think about what you've done
It might've just been for fun
Now let's see where it got you
You act like you have no clue
You think you have gotten away
If only you knew
It's my Suicide Sunday.
Praying that I'll see that light
The one that'll take me away
Make it a brand new day
This is the day it'll end
Cause I’m something you cannot mend
Today is the day I die
Leaving you to wonder why
You'll think about all you've said
And where it could've led
Your words now they just linger
Now you’re quite the thinker
Let's think about what you've done
It might've just been for fun
Now let's see where it got you
You act like you have no clue
You think you have gotten away
If only you knew
It's my Suicide Sunday.
