That Amazing Feeling

Maybe I'm not as superior

Although, that may be

I can feel my blood bursting at my seams,

In command to impress or even surpass you



I feel my heart thumping

My adrenaline coursing through my veins

Like a racecar zooming through a long twisting track

I know deep inside the pit of my stomach

That your soul truly abhors my appearance



Those thoughts disappear from my mind in an instant

Your horrid features glooming down on me

I'm no such thing as afraid

I'm actually quite amused at your effort



I bow my head and take a warming breath

As i stand and say drenching things

Your gloomed figure downsizes as you walk away

I look around in awe as my reward is redeemed
