The Answer

If you would, picture this please:
A grown man falling to his knees and
Praying to God, not asking him why
But just to help his cheating wife not cry.

Why is it that the ones who've been wronged
Help those who've wronged them
And those who have done the wronging
Harm their helpers again and again?
It's complicated, I know,
But the answer will soon be shown.

The answer is love;
Some of us have it, some of us don't,
Some of us take it to use, and some of us won't.
It's what motivates us to do what's right
And when we do we can sleep at night
Knowing we did all that we could
To let others have love the way they should.
So here's my advice--
Choose to give love without thinking twice.
And now after one last good-bye
I can leave, for now you know
Life's greatest lesson
So I shall go.
