The Day God Cried

On September 11, 2001, God hung his head low.
He sobbed out loud with all the angels gathered
around him.
They prayed together for what was about to happen.
As God watch in horror, from heaven above, He tried
to touch the hearts of the terrorist.
When they resisted his call to them, It made God
upset and he cried some more.

One by one he sent his angels.
To help each soul that had expired.
God was watching as his children cried.
He whispered in their ear, I am with you and
I will not leave you.
On the day God cried.
