The Grim Reaper Lurks

By Hannah

Death
It comes around the corner
Whether killing someone new
Or bringing the remembrance of someone long gone
It is haunting my every step
Every time I look towards the future
I always have to look behind
See the stare of death and know
Today will be hard
Tomorrow will be even harder
Even though your death is old
It hurts me like its still new
The pain of death
Causes the misery of life
So I must find a way to cease it
Before I become deceased
With death haunting every crevice
Of my life
