The Last Moments

The rocking chair is where I want to be,
Twenty years from now sitting quietly
In my old age I want to be the one,
To be laid under the never ending sun
Is it always this hard to breathe?
With every breath my chest starts crumbling
I would think of any other way,
To suffer quietly in pain
This soft bed is death in disguise
All the nurses
Have pity in their eyes
There is nothing for me to say,
Though I don't think I could anyway
I am sick and tired of this
I just want to die in bliss
They give me morphine so I can't feel pain,
They're too late I feel like I'm fading away
