The Wise Man

There is an ancient saying, its origin unknown,
That a wise man speaks not with his mouth but only with his heart.

He has no need for verbiage, deceptive in its tone,
His deeds themselves speak volumes imparting silence as an art.

Actions paint a picture on a canvas crystal clear,
Adored by all recipients of an unspoken gift.

A masterpiece of virtue, renowned both far and near,
Speechless lessons given to spirits in need of lift.

A moral for the ages to repeat for old and young,
Speak only when spoken to and earn a great respect.

Offer selfless acts of love without the use of tongue,
And then your words will last forever even without text.
