The Withering Tree
and sanity it's Amulet.
Madness is recalling the obvious,
as the future brings toward a new dawn.
Gripping the Ominous shadow of forever,
Death is nothing but another life.
Begging to have you live it.
When there's nothing left,
It gives you the second breath.
Of what life is truly supposed to be.
I've fought towards this gracious and beautiful gift.
Only to be kept back from it's growing vines.
I recall sensing my gratuitous demise within a sense.
I suppressed the scent of the victory among it's smoke,
as it climbed upon my skin as a comforting gesture.
I set fire among the darkness,
and with it a sense of beauty.
I took it deep within my bones,
among these tombstones that I cross.
It's quite an amazing feeling,
which would be nothing at all.
No tortured depression or sickness.
Calmed within a violent end.
Running towards forever,
would be an endless hell.
All this beautiful pain,
Just to be part of a New growing Forest.
where we will all be free,
and Be ourselves, as The Withering Tree.
