Thermal Scars of a Dawn Eclipse

Within, I scroll my box of memories
And see dark pictures of a dawn eclipse
The fierce collision of our energies
Brews red like heartwood pulled from almique strips.

When two worlds crash, the scars surface to core
Transforming friction into blinding heat.
We bury vendettas and settle scores
In soils where lavenders grew to be sweet.

When oceans split and mountains step aside,
True love reveals the vows we swore to keep.
We drift and blow the water's low neap tide
In quiet coupes where weary ghosts find sleep.

At dusk we watched binary stars glazing
Through the window of love, we stood gazing.
