This Broken Droid
I think I need to reboot
I think I have a malfunction
It goes back and forth in my head, this dispute
There’s a choice at every junction
Now I’m going on the fritz
But I’m trying my best
Yet it’s hard as my heart splits
And there’s an empty hole in my chest
Trying to find something to fill the void
Trying to find something to replace
The heart in this broken droid
Because my heart is an empty space
Just trying to feel something again
Because I watch all the memories I replayed
And thoughts stray to back then
I just wish you would’ve stayed
Now thoughts of you haunt my brain
I’m hoping I’ll be okay
Fighting to keep myself sane
Now that you’ve gone away
I’m hiding how I’m feeling like I was taught
Because no decision’s my own I’m a robot
I think I have a malfunction
It goes back and forth in my head, this dispute
There’s a choice at every junction
Now I’m going on the fritz
But I’m trying my best
Yet it’s hard as my heart splits
And there’s an empty hole in my chest
Trying to find something to fill the void
Trying to find something to replace
The heart in this broken droid
Because my heart is an empty space
Just trying to feel something again
Because I watch all the memories I replayed
And thoughts stray to back then
I just wish you would’ve stayed
Now thoughts of you haunt my brain
I’m hoping I’ll be okay
Fighting to keep myself sane
Now that you’ve gone away
I’m hiding how I’m feeling like I was taught
Because no decision’s my own I’m a robot
This Poems Story
My days recently are all the same, same schedule, nothing new really happens. I feel like I\'m just going off of instinct at this point, wake eat sleep repeat.
