This Little Thing
This little thing is not a little thing at all.
Something you can see as silly can be tearing someone else apart.
Memories and laughter taken away for greed watching joy fall.
It was so beautiful, what was made was art.
Those days are over, legendary moments erased,
only scraps are found now,
the rest lost in time and space.
I won't forget the happiness we all had,
staring at our screens for hours,
laughing and making friends,
before they took away what was ours.
Something you can see as silly can be tearing someone else apart.
Memories and laughter taken away for greed watching joy fall.
It was so beautiful, what was made was art.
Those days are over, legendary moments erased,
only scraps are found now,
the rest lost in time and space.
I won't forget the happiness we all had,
staring at our screens for hours,
laughing and making friends,
before they took away what was ours.
