To a social worker
Open your eyes, you need to get ready
Already stressed, my schedule is unsteady
A passion to save mental health
Never thought about personal wealth
A client, a patient, a number. A person?
So much change I want to close the curtain
We staff and staff, we refer and refer again
Losing track of myself, my emotions have become mundane
Major success for minor improvement, we continue this career with continuous movement
Coming home with running thoughts
Will my client still be there tomorrow? I have so many notes to do. Did I forget to sign that?
Closing my eyes counting the sheep, instead I count the hours I’ve slept in the past week.
Open your eyes, you need to get ready.
