To Me, Love Is...
Love to me is quite overrated,
They say, "Love is patient, love is kind,"
But honestly it's just a state of mind.
Most people get their hopes up for nothing at all,
When for real, in the end they just fall.
Really, love isn't that great,
It has people thinking they've found their true mate.
When things go left and things tear apart,
Everyone leaves with a big broken heart.
It isn't worth all that pain,
When in the end, things go back the same.
So in the end it's not worth the tears,
You have so much, even years.
Love isn't a fairy tale ending that often comes true,
At the end of the day, love mostly you!
This Poems Story
My name is Indyia Andrews. I am a sophomore in high school. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends and family, shopping, and book reviewing. I have always enjoyed writing. I started when I was about seven years old writing short stories. My short stories shortened into poetry. I love writing, and now I have gotten into reading. I now have my own website where I review books from various authors. I would describe myself as positive, level-headed, and a joy to be around! My best friend is definitely my twin sister. I really love my life.
