You were like a sister,
When sisters were not near.
you were like a mother,
When I felt fear.
In a world of millions,
I felt like an alien.
You changed my feelings
Into a bright design.
When I stepped stumbling,
You gave me a helping hand.
When the world was crumbling,
You were on firm stand.
Like a mellow star,
You shed light on my way.
How gentle you are?
You chase my sorrows away.
How could I offer you,
My heartfelt gratitude?
