Universal Mind
In crowed chambers with dimming lights and A maroon-wooden window with the pale moonlight
That stares into the white and crudeness eye of a man's mind.
A mind like his is as gasping and moreover an infinite
Room with playful toys and great friends to play forever.
Does He fly with pseudo wings?
Beg on your own two knees,
Where you pray for your soul that you keep,
And eventually He'll make you see.
Let no one here sigh, nor cry, while the shine makes
The Mind complete within a vision of the greatest divine.
Though I am no guess to be invited to the great ecstasy,
I am still a grateful child who is here to stay forevermore
And never to decay.
The Mind will be free and it will go at a rapid speed.
(To whom may it absolutely and truly need)
The Mind runs and hides but can never stop the sudden surprise.
(And who will be the first to realize what they must revise to destroy our idealistic lies)
The Mind holds many lies, and tides, where the Truth lies.
(Said whom when they took the time to open their wisdom eyes)
This Poems Story
This poem is something that I had created for a passion project in one of my classes but the main inspiration for this entire poem originates from the second-last stanza, “The Mind holds many lies, and tides, where the truth lies.” Out of the blue I just heard this phrase within my mind and I knew I could expand upon it some how and some way.
