Universal Truth

Before you can trust-you have to be trusted
Just like you can't hit it rich having never been busted

We don't always get from the rain without getting wet
And there's nothing to gain if there's nothing to get

The answers we seek-time after time, and again
Come not from the outside but are found from within

Beware of teachers and leaders knowing what you should do
If they don't bother to mention the source inside you

The claimers who claim that they know the way
Will still take your money knowing not what they say

So trust in yourself-not what others might do
For the answers they have are not meant for you

If we trust from within-that's when we will find
The answers we seek come from deep in our mind

We already know all that we question
Just be quiet and listen to your inner suggestion
