My sweetie is of the sensitive sort
Rescue any animal I'm here to report
Cats and dogs that have been abused
She will make sure no need goes refused

She once stole a goat one day
It had been abused in some way
There are some people who might think this is nuts
It is just because her heart is so fragile, no ifs or buts

Her heart is as fragile as the thinnest of glass
Mess with her heart you better watch your ass
You must be careful and gentle as one can be
Have the same impact as a raindrop on the sea

Her heart has been broken time and again
By the actions of callused and ignorant men
It is no wonder why her trust is so hard to win
And I must start at the bottom of the trash bin

This is a journey I am willing to make
All care and precautions I must take
I soon hope to be
Treated like a dog you see
For in Vanessia's world is a piece of cake
