War is warmth

He touched the damage,
Swallowing it up,
Spitting it out whole,
Tasting every scar,
Wrapping his tongue around the severed,
Drinking in her every anxiety.
He caressed every curve,
Inhaling all her pain,
With his warmth,
With his flavor,
Alleviating her suffering,
He pressed through the flesh,
Soaking his breath,
Drinking her in,
She shivered,
his touch now envious,
Her wounds begin to pour,
But his scent smelled of home,
So she hollowed,
Hollowed until she bowed,
Bowed until she evaporated,
He touched the damage,
Swallowing it up,
Tasting every scar,
Inhaling all her pain,
He glutted,
Leaving a mere reminisce of existence,
An echo,
She gave him substance
And He taught her war is warmth.
