WE

I didn’t like the mountain tops,
I prefer the snowy mushroom caps
To jump and not look back.

I found myself on the reddest one
And i sat on top of my own lap
We had a chat

Me told me to eat the meat
Which jutted from below our feet
But i just sat

Newfound me consumed the flesh
As blackened blood sprayed from her chest
I flew like a bat.

I walked into the jade lagoon
And washed away the gore
But eely fingers grabbed my wrist
and black began to pour
I emerged to face myself
My hand and forearms torn
By the sad sadistic me
Who sings an impish chord
