When Values Fade

Memories fading
Cultures transitioning
Immorality becomes the norms of society
Age is but a number, money denotes Elder
Brothers silence Brother’s
Father exploring daughter
Infants in mortar, pound it, pound it
Ah! Man of God,
Yet you preach on the altar.

I am bitter, battered by the pandemonium of the universe
The scripture has spoken
Humans, unshaken!
Hell awaits sinners
Rest! preacher, aren't you a sinner?
Our generation is degenerating
Morals are depreciating
Our cultural home is dilapidating
The youths are debilitating
Hard substance ingested are complicating
The world is running mad
Technology ruining lives?
But we are happy, happy at our Wise ignorance
Perhaps this is the hour of doom
Where satisfaction is derived from agony.
