WHEN WILL WE LEARN
Are you really in your life where you want to be
Do you suffer enough for the world to see
How long will you allow this to go on
And for whom are you living as a pawn
At the end of your day are you at rest
Does fulfillment come or not your best
The drugs, the alcohol, the way of you
Have you accepted what comes through
When (if ever) does life take a toll
Do you slow, stop, or keep to a roll
How long does it take before you seem to realize
Not for no one else but what's mirrored in your eyes
That all the harm is definitely one which is set
On any accomplishment of yours, this I bet
Why choose the wait when you can fix it now
If you don't want to then don't concern with how
HOW DO WE BECOME SUCH VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCE
WHEN WE ARE SOLELY TO BLAME FOR TAKING THE CHANCE
