Wings Of Butterfly
It's been a while - since I see you smile
The place I had in your heart became so hostile
Like a rugged terrain -
And I am the only one witnessing this pain
My love for you is longer than the Nile
And to prove it, I walked a thousand mile
Thinking my heart was strong enough to break your chain
But I have only wasted my love in vain
I sat by the lake of tears - washing away my fears
Deep in my mind, a wave of memories so vast
Where our future has been shaped by our past
I hold your hand watching a flock of birds flying by
In the spacious blue sky
While my heart cried like wings of butterfly
The place I had in your heart became so hostile
Like a rugged terrain -
And I am the only one witnessing this pain
My love for you is longer than the Nile
And to prove it, I walked a thousand mile
Thinking my heart was strong enough to break your chain
But I have only wasted my love in vain
I sat by the lake of tears - washing away my fears
Deep in my mind, a wave of memories so vast
Where our future has been shaped by our past
I hold your hand watching a flock of birds flying by
In the spacious blue sky
While my heart cried like wings of butterfly
