Wintertime Haiku

1.
Winter frozen stiff

icy silvered river is

paused to dream of spring.

2.
The frantic snowflakes

nervously dance in the wind,

its whim their master.

3.
Safely secluded,

I watch the snowstorm with awe.

Its beauty is fierce.
