Ockouri Barnes is a passionate poet whose words weave emotions into vivid imagery. Since the age of 12 he been writing and engaging with the world of literature. With a deep love for language, he explores themes of love, nature, identity, the human experience among many other topics. His style of poetry blends introspection with universal truths, resonating with readers on a profound level. Whether through free verse or structured forms, he captures fleeting moments and timeless emotions. Inspired by life’s beauty and struggles, Ockouri also strives to evoke thought and feeling in every line. He believes in the power of poetry to connect souls and illuminate the unseen, one verse at a time. As a young Jamaican I aspire to become one of the greatest poet of my generation on a global scale. Therefore, I hope to publish numerous collections of poetry, quotes, novel and dub-poetry during my lifetime.
